# What Apparent does

Short answer: Apparent is analytics for iOS and Android apps: who's in your app right now from its own SDK, plus downloads, reviews and sales from App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat, all your apps on one page, in plain words, with good and bad news sent to your phone or email, and an MCP server for your AI.

One short block per feature, so you can see what's there, and what isn't, at a glance.

## Who's in your app right now

Apparent's own SDK shows people using the app live, what they do, and today against a usual day at the same hour. SDKs for Expo, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter and Capacitor; paste one prompt into your AI or run npx apparent-cli init. Screens, opens and crashes are recorded for you.

SDKs

## Both stores and RevenueCat, no code

Connect App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat with a key each, no code, and downloads, ratings, reviews, sales, trials and refunds join the page. Each source can be read on its own or together, and a person two sources saw is counted once. Mixpanel history can be brought in too.

Both stores in one dashboard

## Plain words first

Each app starts with a sentence, like "212 people downloaded Fern this week, most from App Store search, and 9 started a trial." The numbers sit underneath, written as "1 in 55" rather than "1.8% conversion".

## All your apps on one page

Every app on one page, with one sentence for all of them together. Plans are priced by number of apps, from up to 5.

## Good and bad news, as it happens

A message for every sale, trial and refund (within seconds with RevenueCat), busy moments, your best day in 30 days, milestones, new countries and 5- or 1–2-star reviews. Bad news plainly: downloads down 40% or more week on week, a new crash, more people stopping at sign-up, or events that stopped. By push to Apparent's phone app or by email, plus a summary every Monday.

How the alerts work

## Needs you, and Going well

Each app's page leads with the one thing that hit the most people this week (an error, a failure, a drop-off, bad reviews) and up to three things going well. New things come first; old ones step back.

## Why a number changed

When a day or week is far from usual, Apparent says why, biggest cause first, with how much each explains and how sure it is. When the data can't say, an agent looks with Apparent's read-only tools and pins a short finding to that day.

## Where new people stop

The steps new people take, made from your app's own events (onboarding, sign-in, the paywall, buying, coming back), and how many pass each one. Tap a step to see who left there.

## Which features people use

Events grouped into features by their names, with how many people use each and how often. Rename, merge or hide them on the web.

## What buyers did first

Purchases join the person who made them, so you see how soon buyers bought, what they did first and where they came from.

## An MCP server and a command line for your AI

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients can ask how your apps are doing, what changed and why, and get the same plain sentences. Read-only: nothing can change your data. The apparent command gives the same answers in a terminal.

The MCP server

## In-app chat

People write to you from inside your Expo or React Native app, on one ready-made screen in the app's own colours. You answer from Apparent on the web or the phone app and see what they did right before writing. In every plan, with a monthly message cap.

## Your testing never counts

Simulators, Apple's review, Google's pre-launch phones and builds not in the store yet are left out of every number. Store numbers that haven't arrived show as not in yet, never as zero.

## Teammates and exports

Invite people to look, at every app or only some; they get the news about their apps by email. Download events and people as CSV.

## Private by default

The SDKs never read the advertising id (no ATT prompt), keep no IP address, and save every event on the phone first: up to 1,000 wait for a connection. Data is kept in Germany, with a DPA in the Terms.
