App Store downloads, next to what people do in your app
Mixpanel sees people once they open your app; App Store Connect sees them before. Apparent reads both, so you see the whole way from a download to the first open and back again, and what each release did to it.
What you can answer with both
- How many downloads open the app?
- Downloads from Apple next to first opens from Mixpanel, day by day.
- What did the last release change?
- Releases are marked on every chart, with ratings, reviews and in-app use around them.
- Are new people coming back?
- How many new people come back after 1, 7 and 30 days.
How it reads on your page

1,227 people downloaded Fern on iPhone this month; 1,106 opened it.
- Version 2.3 came out on Monday: 8 new reviews since, 4.7 stars on average.
- 1 in 4 new people came back a week later.

Questions
Why are downloads and first opens different?
Some people download and never open the app, and redownloads aren't new people. Apparent shows both numbers rather than mixing them.
Can I add Google Play too?
Yes. Connect it and both stores show together.
What does it cost?
Nothing while Apparent is in beta.
