The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, Apparent stores your email address, the date you joined, the country your connection came from (as Cloudflare reports it, not your internet address) and the page that sent you here, if there was one.
That is used for one thing: to email you when your spot opens. Your address is never sold, shared or used for advertising, and you won't be added to any other list.
Where it's kept
In a database at Cloudflare, stored in the EU, in Apparent's own account. This website runs on Cloudflare too. When you join, Apparent's maker also gets an email with your address, so they can write back to you.
Taking your address off the list
Write to hello@apparent.fyi from the address you signed up with, or reply to the email you get from Apparent, and it's deleted. You can also ask what is stored about you.
This website
No cookies, no ads, no trackers. The page remembers on your own device that you joined, so it doesn't ask again.
