App Store Connect downloads, next to RevenueCat sales
App Store Connect knows who downloaded your iPhone app. RevenueCat knows who paid. Apparent reads both, so you see the whole way from the App Store to a subscription: how many downloads turned into trials and buyers, how soon, and which week brought the people who pay.
What you can answer with both
- How many downloads turn into buyers?
- Downloads from Apple next to new trials and purchases from RevenueCat, as "1 in 40 people who downloaded Fern this month paid".
- Did that busy week bring buyers or just downloads?
- The downloads chart and the sales chart share one timeline, so a spike shows whether money followed.
- Which country pays?
- Downloads and sales by country side by side.
- Why did money go up?
- Apparent splits a rise into what explains it: new buyers, people coming back to buy, and where they came from.
How it reads on your page

1 in 40 people who downloaded Fern this month paid for Fern Plus.
- Most buyers paid within 3 days of downloading.
- Japan sent 4% of downloads but 11% of sales.

Questions
Doesn't App Store Connect already show sales?
It shows sales reports. RevenueCat adds trials, renewals, cancellations and failed payments as they happen, and ties each buyer to what they did in your app.
Are sales counted twice?
No. When RevenueCat is connected, its sales are the money and the store's sales report isn't added on top.
What does it cost?
Nothing while Apparent is in beta.
