Analytics for Expo and React Native apps

Add Apparent's SDK to your Expo or React Native app and read how it's doing in plain words: who downloaded it, who paid, what they did and who came back, with your App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat numbers on the same page.

Free during beta. One email when your spot opens, nothing else.

A few lines

import { Apparent } from "apparent-expo";
import { useApparentScreens } from "apparent-expo/router";

Apparent.init({ app: "fern", key: "…" });
Apparent.track("plant_added");
await Apparent.linkRevenueCat(Purchases);

// In your root layout: every screen, automatically.
useApparentScreens();

You get the SDK and your key when your spot on the waitlist opens.

What it records

  • Every first open, visit and update, and how long people stay.
  • Each screen, automatically in Expo Router.
  • The actions you name, like "plant_added".
  • Purchases, linked through RevenueCat to what people did before buying.
  • Crashes and errors, with the screen and version they happened on.

Made not to lose events

  • Every event is saved on the phone within a quarter second, and right away when the app goes to the background or crashes.
  • Up to 1,000 events wait offline and leave only once the server has them. Duplicates are ignored.
  • Phones with the wrong time are corrected on the server.

Plus what no SDK can see

Connect App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat once, and downloads, ratings, reviews, sales, trials and refunds show up next to what people do. Bring your Mixpanel history along if you're switching.

Questions

Does Apparent work with Expo?

Yes. The SDK is made for Expo apps, with screens tracked automatically in Expo Router. Bare React Native apps can use it once Expo's modules are installed.

What does the SDK record?

Opens, screens, the actions you name, purchases (linked through RevenueCat) and crashes. It saves every event on the phone first, so a bad connection or a crash doesn't lose one; up to 1,000 events wait offline.

Where do downloads and sales come from?

From App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat, which you connect once. No code needed for those.

Can I bring my Mixpanel history?

Yes. Apparent imports your Mixpanel events, and someone both tools saw is counted once.

What does it cost?

Nothing while Apparent is in beta. Join the waitlist and you'll get one email when your spot opens.
