App analytics for solo developers

When you make apps on your own, you're the developer, the designer, the marketer and the support desk. You don't have an afternoon to build a funnel in Mixpanel, and you shouldn't need one. Apparent reads App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat for you, adds what people do in the app from its own SDK, and tells you in a few sentences how each app did. All your apps sit on one page.

Free during beta. One email when your spot opens, nothing else.

What you get on day one

  • A sentence per app: how many people downloaded it, who paid, and how that compares with usual.
  • Every app on one page, with one sentence for all of them together.
  • Good news as it happens: your first sale in a new country, your best day, every hundredth download, new reviews.
  • The path from store to sale: where people found the app, what they did first, and who came back.
  • Crashes by version, so you know if the update you shipped last night broke something.

What you don't have to do

  • Learn what a cohort or a funnel is before you see anything useful.
  • Copy numbers from App Store Connect, Google Play Console and RevenueCat into a spreadsheet.
  • Pay for a team plan built for companies with an analyst.
  • Wire three tools together so a sale shows up next to the download it came from.

Built by one app maker

Apparent is made by a solo developer who runs several apps on it. Tap Feedback on any page and the person who builds it reads it, usually the same day. Bugs in your numbers get fixed before anything new is built.

When something else fits better

If you run a web product and an app with one shared login, or you need custom reports, session replay, feature flags or A/B tests, a general tool like PostHog, Mixpanel or Amplitude goes further. See the comparisons for an honest side by side.

Questions

Is Apparent free for solo developers?

Yes, while Apparent is in beta. Pricing comes later and you'll hear about it before anything changes.

How many apps can I add?

All of them. Apparent is made for people with several apps and shows them on one page.

Do I need to write code?

A few lines for the SDK in an Expo or React Native app. Downloads, sales and reviews come from App Store Connect, Google Play and RevenueCat, which you connect without code.

Does it work with native Swift or Kotlin apps?

The store and RevenueCat numbers work for any app. The SDK, for what people do inside the app, is for Expo and React Native today.

What if I've never used analytics before?

That's who it's for. Apparent writes what happened in plain words first and shows the numbers underneath.
