Active subscriptions
Active subscriptions are the paid subscriptions that are running right now and haven't expired.
Also called Paying subscribers, Active subscribers.
In plain words
86 people pay for Fern right now.
How Apparent would say it about Fern, an example app in the live demo.
Good to know
Someone who turned off auto-renew but still has time left is still active until their period ends. Someone in a free trial usually isn't counted as paying yet.
Watching the count move each day shows the balance between people joining and leaving, which revenue alone hides when prices differ.
Where the number comes from
RevenueCat, or the stores' subscription reports.
